Camélia Gardens is a 19th-century manor estate in Sintra's hills along Portugal's Riviera.
The castle-like yellow manor, gardens, ponds, and historic ballroom blend classical Portuguese architecture with lush landscapes. The estate serves as both a celebration venue and a retreat for those drawn to Sintra's romantic heritage and authentic Portuguese hospitality.
The wedding venue is in Sintra, about 30 minutes outside of Lisbon. We're arranging shuttles to make getting there (and back) easy.
Shuttles will pick up from a central location in Lisbon and take you directly to the venue. We'll have multiple departure times throughout the evening for anyone ready to head back. The exact schedule will be shared closer to the wedding date.
Ubers are affordable and easy to book to Sintra. Getting one from Sintra back to Lisbon is much harder. Keep this in mind when deciding when to catch a shuttle back.
We don't recommend driving or renting a car the day of the wedding. Parking near the venue is extremely limited.
We recommend staying in Lisbon. The city is incredibly walkable, public transport is easy to navigate, and Ubers are affordable—getting around is a breeze no matter where you're based.
Lisbon has excellent hotel options at every price point. We're working on securing discounted room blocks at a few hotels and will share those details as soon as they're finalized.
If you'd prefer more space or want to stay with friends, Airbnbs are plentiful throughout the city. We encourage groups to book together.
More accommodation details coming soon!
We've put together a list of our favourite places in Lisbon for you to visit

Cocktail attire. Women in long dresses, men in suits (tuxedos not required). The wedding is mostly outdoors, so dress accordingly.
Lisbon weather is typically beautiful at this time of year, but Mother Nature is unpredictable. We have indoor accommodations if it rains.
Yes! Vegetarian and dietary accommodations will be available. We'll reach out closer to the wedding to discuss specific needs.
Please do not bring physical gifts to Lisbon. Traveling with them will be a hassle for everyone. Registry information coming soon.
We will be in Lisbon the week before, and anyone is welcome to join us exploring the city. If this is your first time visiting Lisbon we highly recommend taking some days for yourself to explore all the city has to offer.
There's no pressure. The only required event is drinks on Friday night. That's the official start of the wedding weekend.
